 May 2026 Special Board Election

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly to the electors of the Westwood Metropolitan District of Adams County, Colorado (the District).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 32-1-804.1 C.R.S., that an election will be held on the 6th day of May 2026, between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.  At that time, three Directors to serve for a term of three years and two Directors to serve for a term of one year.

A Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form can be downloaded by clinking on this LINK or can be obtained from Charles Wolfersberger, the District Manager and Designated Election Official for the District, 8354 Northfield Blvd, Building G Suite 3700 Denver, CO 80238 (720) 541-7725.

The Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form or letter is to be submitted to the Designated Election Official or his agent not later than 5:00pm on Friday February 27, 2026. A Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form that is not sufficient may be amended once at any time prior to 3:00pm on Friday February 27, 2026.  Affidavits of Intent to be a Write-in Candidate must be submitted to the Designated Election Official or his agent by the close of business on Monday March 02, 2026.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN pursuant to Section 1-8-104 C.R.S. that applications for mail-in ballots may be filed with the Designated Election Official of the District, 8354 Northfield Blvd, Building G Suite 3700 Denver, CO 80238, between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm until the close of business on the Friday immediately preceding the regular election (Friday, May 02, 2025), except that if the applicant wishes to receive the mail-in ballot by mail, the application shall be filed no later than the close of business on the 7th day before the election (Tuesday, April 28, 2026).
